A parade ski tour like from the picture book. The summit is adorned with the probably largest summit cross in all of Tyrol. The long way starts directly in See/Habigen. Who likes can save a few meters of altitude with the mountain railroad. Over snow-covered forests it goes up to the mighty plateau Gampertun and always towards the summit. The steep northern flank is bypassed via a saddle and the magnificent ridge. The ridge stretches up to the summit like a ladder to heaven. A great and long descent awaits us.

The tour starts in the Wirl district of Galtür, directly at the valley station of the Birkhahn cable car. The tour continues steadily uphill for a total of 9 kilometers to the Bielerhöhe, where the impressive Silvretta reservoir is located.

Away from the hustle and bustle, this is a particularly good place to relax. The way back is the same. It is not possible to shorten the route by bus.

A welcome change from skiing is the winter hike to the Ascherhütte. The Medrigjochbahn and the Zeinisbahn take you comfortably to the starting point. The panoramic tour starts at the Zeinisbahn mountain station. Along the slope, nature lovers take a leisurely walk on marked paths to the Furglerblick valley station and then to the Ascherhütte. With the snowshoes it then continues to the quiet Versingalpe.
