Our small, yet perfectly formed hotel is located in the middle of the idyllic holiday town of See in Paznaun. Refurbished in 2018 it perfectly combines Alpine charm with contemporary, natural materials. Familial and personal conduct with guests and friends, to whom we offer a service and cuisine of the highest quality, is a matter particularly dear to our hearts.
A hotel which has a history
It is with a great deal of attention to detail and passion that we in Post Hotel See ensure a warm, inviting and authentic atmosphere – a feature that is reflected throughout the hotel, be that in the rooms and suites, in the restaurant or in the wellness area. We manage our hotel with passion and have been doing so for many years and quite a number of generations. It all started with a little guesthouse…

Otto and Anna Handle build a guesthouse in See. Since it was close to the post office, it was named «Gasthof Post».

1972
Arnold Handle Sen. and his wife took over the business and invested in an extensive re-building and refurbishment.

1994
Arnold and Neldi Handle take over the business and lay the foundation stone for the Post Hotel of today

1997
The rooms in the Hotel Post were upgraded.

2005
A wellness and fitness area were integrated into the basement of the hotel.

2014
A dining hall in Alpine style was built.

2018
The hotel was completely renovated and refurbished. The building was given a new facade and an additional floor with rooms providing panoramic views

We are of the opinion that really good food makes life more worthwhile. With that in mind, our team of chefs magic up top-notch delights for our guests' plates. At times traditional, at others off-beat, yet always with a great deal of care and home-made too of course.

After an adventure-packed day outdoors, our sauna area promises pure relaxation. On our contemporary Italian designer lounger in our relaxation area you get to enjoy a special ambience, which prepares you perfectly for a cosy evening.
